Box Score Seton Hill rallied from two goals down to force overtime and scored in the second overtime period to win a wild contest at Kutztown on Friday afternoon.
Ashley Reid scored four minutes and ten seconds into the second overtime period to give the Griffins the 4-3 win. Seton Hill improves to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in PSAC play.
The game featured 65 shots, 32 saves, 27 penalty corners (including 21 for Kutztown) and 3 penalty strokes (all 3 for Kutztown). Seton Hill got on the scoreboard just 9 minutes into the contest when
Lauren Schumacher scored her first of two goals in the contest. Less than 5 minutes later Kutztown scored to tie the score at one. Kutztown took a 2-1 lead with less than ten minutes remaining in the first half. The Golden Bears entered the halftime break with the 2-1 lead.
Rebecca Portillo made 7 saves in net in the first half.
Kutztown extended its lead to 3-1 just over five minutes into the second half. Schumacher scored her second goal of the contest with 15 minutes left in the half to cut the lead to 3-2.

Joanna Pichardo tied the game at three which set up a wild finish to regulation. Kutztown was given two penalty strokes in the last two minutes of the half which both were stopped by Griffin keeper
Autumn Reid.
Kutztown outshot the Griffins 9-4 in the first overtime period but
Autumn Reid was up to the task, making 5 saves including another stop on a penalty stroke to send the game to a second overtime. Seton Hill controlled the second overtime period and scored the game winner 4 minutes and 10 seconds into the period when
Ashley Reid scored when she tipped in a shot from
Melayna Currie.
Autumn Reid finished the contest allowing just one goal and recording 15 saves.
Lauren Schumacher scored on both of her shots.
Michelle Hogan led the Griffins with 9 shots.
Seton Hill will continue their eastern PA road trip on Saturday when they travel to West Chester.
