The Griffins scored first but it was not enough as they dropped a 3-1 PSAC West matchup on the road at Mansfield on Tuesday afternoon.  With the loss, the Griffins fall to 6-8 overall and 2-5 in PSAC West play.

Joanna Pichardo got the Griffins on the board first just 7:50 into the contest.  Janelle Hofer and Lauren Schumacher assisted on the goal.  Less than 5 minutes later Mansfield tied the score at one.  Ten minutes later Mansfield took the lead for good with a goal at the 21:47 mark.  Mansfield closed out the scoring with a goal just 40 seconds before halftime. 

Rebecca Portillo started in net for the Griffins and gave up all 3 goals.  She also recorded 6 saves.  Autumn Reid played the final 35 minutes in the net. 

Seton Hill will travel to Slippery Rock on Friday evening for another PSAC West Contest.
