Box Score The women's soccer team's playoff chances took a major hit on Wednesday afternoon at Concord as the Griffins dropped a 2-1 decision to the Mountain Lions. With the loss, the Griffins fall to 10-7-1 overall and 5-4-1 in WVIAC play. With a win, the Griffins could have sealed up a third place finish and a home first round contest. Following the loss, the Griffins now need Ohio Valley to defeat or tie Shepherd on Saturday to earn the sixth and final playoff spot in the league.

Breanna Novosel. SHU looked to have taken the lead in the 60th minute but a goal was taken off the board because of an offsides call. Concord scored the game winning goal with just under 9 minutes to play in the contest.
