SHU Dops PSAC West Opener at Gannon

Seton Hill began PSAC West play on Sunday afternoon as they traveled to Erie for a conference matchup with Gannon.

The Golden Knights scored a pair of goals in the second half as they defeated the Griffins by a 2-0 score.  

Neither team found the back of the net in the first half of the contest.  

Gannon struck first just over seven minutes into the second half as they took a 1-0 lead over the Griffins.  Less than eight minutes later the Golden Knights increased their lead to 2-0.  

Rhys Caplinger made six saves in the contest for the Griffins. 

SHU will host IUP on Wednesday afternoon in another PSAC West contest.
