Seton Hill hosted Davenport on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day on the hill in Greensburg in a G-MAC contest.
The Griffins got off to a slow start but scored 17 second half goals and they defeated the Panthers 25-5. SHU is now 14-1 overall and 8-0 in the G-MAC.
With the victory the Griffins clinch the G-MAC Regular Season Title and the top spot in the G-MAC Tournament.
The offense got off to a slow start as it scored just two goals in the first quarter.
Kaden Granberg scored at the 9:29 mark and
Carter Green scored with 5:33 left as SHU took a 2-0 lead into the second quarter.
SHU then outscored the Panthers 6-0 in the second quarter.
Nate Herbster scored four goals in the first eight minutes of action in the second quarter as they Griffins took a 6-0 lead.
Carter Li and
Michael Coleman scored in the last minute of the half as the Griffins built an 8-0 lead at the halftime break.
The offense exploded for ten goals in the third quarter.
Wade Brunelle,
Braedan Lockyer and Coleman each scored twice in the third.
Carter Green,
Connor Zostant,
Riley Grudi and Herbster each scored a goal.
Eliot Schratz scored a pair of goals for the Griffins in the fourth. Lockyer, Li,
John Rebaudo IV,
Liam Bergan and
Andrew Mathieu each scored a single goal.
Herbster finished with 5 goals and 2 assists. Coleman and Lockyer each added three goals with Coleman adding an assist. Li had 2 goals and 4 assists while Green had 2 goals and 3 assists.
SHU will close out the regular season on Tuesday when they travel to Walsh.
