Griffins Demolish Another G-MAC Opponent

Seton Hill continued Great Midwest Conference play on Tuesday afternoon as they hosted Davis & Elkins at DSG Field.  

The Griffins scored 15 first quarter goals as they demolished another G-MAC opponent, this one by the score of 33-2.  SHU is now 8-1 overall and 4-0 in the G-MAC.  D&E falls to 1-10 overall and 0-4 in the G-MAC.  

SHU scored five times in the first six minutes of the contest as they built a 5-0 lead.  Nate herbster and Braedan Lockyer each scored a pair of goals and Connor Zostant added the fifth.  After a D&E goal the Griffins scored the final ten goals of the quarter.  Lockyer and Herbster and Michael Coleman scored a pair of the goals.  Wade Brunelle, Carter Green, Andrew Mattieu and Noah Radle each added a goal as SHU led 15-1 after one.  

The Griffins outscored the Senators 7-0 in the second quarter.  Brunelle and Carter Li each had a pair of goals.  Radle, Eliot Schratz and Gavin Erickson added the other three goals.  

SHU outshot the Senators 44-2 in the first half.  SHU won 23 of 24 faceoffs in the half.  

Ayden Naranjo scored a pair of goals in the third quarter as SHU outscored the Senators 6-1.  Zostant, Li, Liam Bergan and Green each scored single goals.  

Ethan Smith, along with Li, Naranjo, Schratz and Radle closed out the scoring for the Griffins.  

Lockyer scored 4 goals and added 3 assists.  Brunelle added 3 goals and 4 assists.  Radle finished with 3 goals and 3 assists.  Herbster and Li each added 4 goals and 2 assists.  

The Griffins will travel to #8 Lewis on Saturday afternoon.
