Seton Hill hosted Tiffin on Tuesday afternoon in a make up game from last week's postponed G-MAC contest.
SHU jumped out to a 15-1 halftime lead and never looked back in a 27-5 victory. SHU is now 8-3 overall and 5-1 in the G-MAC.
The Griffins took an early lead on a
Braedan Lockyer goal just 50 seconds into the contest. Tiffin responded with a goal to tie the contest at one. SHU answered back with five straight to close out the quarter.
Wade Brunelle scored twice and
Kaden Granberg,
Connor Zostant and
Shane Conlon scored the other goals.
SHU outscored Tiffin 9-1 in the second quarter.
Wade Brunelle scored the first and last goal of the quarter.
Carter Green and
Michael Coleman each scored twice.
Colin Socker, Brunelle and
Demetri Yerou each added a goal.
Lockyer, Zostant and
Peyton Gensler scored goals for the Griffins in the first five minutes of the third quarter.
Ryan McCann and
John Rebaudo IV added a pair as the Griffins built a 21-2 lead.
Blake Morrow scored three of the six Griffin goals in the fourth. Coleman,
Andy Davis and
Tyler Phelps added goals in the fourth.
The Griffins finished with 81 shots to 14 for the Dragons. SHU had 58 ground balls to 16 for Tiffin and won 29 of 35 faceoffs.
Brunelle, Coleman and Morrow each scored three. Brunelle added two assists. Lockyer, Herbster, Green, Zostant and Rebaudo IV each added a pair.
SHU will play #3 Tampa pn Saturday in Sparks, Maryland.
