Seton Hill continued G-MAC play on Saturday afternoon with a matchup in Canton, OH against Malone.
The Griffins jumped out to a 16-3 halftime lead and cruised to a 26-14 victory. SHU is now 7-3 overall and 4-1 in the G-MAC.
Malone opened the scoring just 40 seconds into the contest. SHU then scored the next nine goals over the final 9:21 of the quarter as they took a 9-1 lead.
Wade Brunelle scored three times in the quarter with
Nate Herbster and
Braedan Lockyer added two goals in the quarter.
Colin Socker and
Kaden Granberg each scored once.
SHU then scored the first six goals of the second quarter in just over three minutes.
Carter Green and Lockyer scored 15 seconds apart to start the scoring. Brunelle and
Cullen Kerchner then scored three seconds apart to make it 13-1.
Vincent Cogliandro scored back to back goals and
Connor Zostant added the final goal of the quarter as SHU led 16-3.
SHU sandwiched four goals between five Malone goals in the third quarter. Cogliandro, Brunelle,
John Rebaudo IV and
Michael Coleman each scored for SHU. Cogliandro scored late in the quarter to give SHU a 21-8 lead.

The Griffins outshot the Pioneers 79-39. SHU won 30 of the 43 faceoffs.
Brunelle led the offense with five goals and an assist. Cogliandro finished with four goals and an assist. Lockyer added three goals. Herbster added two goals and three assists. Zostant had a goal and three assists.
