Seton Hill began G-MAC play with a home contest against Thomas More on Saturday afternoon in Greensburg.
The Griffins jumped out to an 8-0 lead after the first quarter and cruised to a 24-2 victory. SHU is now 4-2 overall and 1-0 in the G-MAC while Thomas More falls to 0-4 overall and 0-1 in the G-MAC.
SHU scored three times in a 24 second span to take a 3-0 lead.
Kaden Granberg,
Peyton Gensler and
Nate Herbster scored in the three goal run.
Carter Green, Gensler and
Connor Zostant followed with goals to extend the Griffins lead to 6-0 with 8:24 to play. Gensler and Zostant closed out the scoring for the Griffins in the quarter.
The Griffins struck for six goals in the second quarter.
Wade Brunelle scored three of the goals with
Braedan Lockyer adding two goals. Green added the other goal in the quarter.
Tyler Phelps opened the scoring in the third quarter as SHU took a 15-0 lead. Thomas More scored their first goal at the 11:54 mark of the third quarter. SHU scored six goals in the final seven minutes of the third.

Colin Socker, John Rebaudo and
Jared Chantz each scored for SHU.
Aidan McLaughlin scored twice and
Noah VandeWater added a goal in the fourth for the Griffins.
Gensler scored three and added an assist while Brunelle scored three. Lockyer had a pair and three assists. Zostant scored twice and added an assist. Green and McLaughlin each added a pair.
The Griffins continue G-MAC play on Tuesday at Wheeling.
