Seton Hill continued G-MAC play on Saturday afternoon with a conference match at Wheeling on Saturday afternoon.
The Griffins used a 9-0 third quarter as they pulled away from the Cardinals in a 22-8 victory. SHU is now 8-3 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
Just over five minutes into the contest, the Cardinals took a 1-0 lead over the Griffins.
Vincent Cogliandro and
Peyton Gensler scored over the final nine minutes of the quarter as the Griffins took a 2-1 lead.
Carter Green got the Griffins on the board in the second quarter with a goal at the 13:35 mark. Wheeling answered with two in a row to tie it at three with 6:32 to play before the half. The Griffins then ran off four goals in the final 5:54 of the half to take a 7-3 lead.

Grady Arnold and Gensler scored the goals for the Griffins.
It was all Seton Hill in the third quarter as they outscored the Cards by a 9-0 margin.
Blake Morrow scored two goals while Cogliandro,
Mark Strunk,
Jeremy Sforzo, Socker,
Nate Herbster,
Andy Davis and Green each scored once.
Morrow,
Cole Bordo, Cogliandro and
Michael Coleman each scored goals in the first three minutes of the fourth quarter as they increased their lead 20-3 with 11:47 to play in the quarter. Coleman added two more goals down the stretch to close out the scoring.
Seton Hill finished with 52 shots on goal to just 16 for Wheeling. SHU won 29 of the 33 faceoffs in the contest.
Cogliandro and Morrow each had three goals and an assist. Coleman finished with three goals. Gensler led SHU with five points on two goals and three assists. Green and Socker each scored twice and added an assist. Sforzo added a goal and two assists. Williams and Herbster added a goal and assist. Strunk won 20 of 21 faceoffs.
The Griffins will host Mercyhurst next Saturday with first place in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and a chance to host the G-MAC Final on the line.
