The Griffins returned home after two road matches as they hosted North Greenville on Saturday afternoon.
Seton Hill jumped out to an 8-0 first quarter lead and never looked back in route to a 22-4 victory. SHU is now 3-2 on the season.
SHU scored the first seven goals of the contest as they took a 7-0 lead.
Peyton Gensler scored twice while
Jeremy Sforzo,
Kaden Granberg,
Andy Davis,
Vincent Cogliandro and
Connor Zostant each scored once. After a NGU goal,
Mark Strunk closed out the quarter with a goal.
The Griffins followed that up with a 7-0 second quarter in which they extended their lead to 15-1 at the half. Sforzo and Zostant scored in the first minute of the quarter. Granberg scored before the ten minute mark while Cogliandro,
Colin Socker,
Carter Green and
Blake Morrow rounded out the scoring in the quarter.
Zostant, Socker and Granberg scored in the first five minutes of the third quarter. Morrow scored in the final ten seconds as SHU took a 19-2 lead into the fourth.
Noah Vandewater
Demetri Yerou and Sforzo scored in the fourth quarter for the Griffins.
Zostant led SHU with three goals and four assists. Sforzo added three goals and an assist. Granberg also scored three goals. Gensler, Morrow, Cogliandro and Socker each scored twice. Gensler, Cogliandro and Socker each added an assist.
SHU will play at Mount Olive next weekend.
