Seton Hill continued play in the Great Midwest Conference with a home matchup with Alderson Broaddus on a windy and snowy Tuesday afternoon.
Fourteen different Griffins scored goals as Seton Hill cruised to a 28-5 victory over the Battlers. SHU improved to 9-5 overall and 3-1 in G-MAC play.
The Griffins opened the game by scoring the first eight goals of the contest as they built an 8-0 lead.
McGarity Harper and
Zack Estabrooks scored twice in the first quarter with
Thomas Hanulak,
Blake Morrow,
Demetri Yerou and
Grady Arnold each scoring once. AB scored the final goal of the quarter with nine seconds remaining to cut the SHU lead to 8-1.
Seton Hill dominated the second quarter as they outscored the Battlers by a 9-0 margin. Harper and
Vincent Cogliandro each scored twice while Arnold, Morrow, Yerou, Hanulak and
Peyton Gensler each scored once.
The Griffins outshot the Battlers 40-4 in the half. They won 19 of the 20 faceoffs in the half and had a 30-5 advantage in ground balls.
Alderson Broaddus scored the first two goals of the third quarter but the Griffins responded with four goals to close out the quarter.

Brian Fehr each scored in the quarter.
Arnold scored three times in the fourth quarter to lead the Griffins.
Connor Zostant,
Colin Socker, Fehr and VandeWater each scored single goals for the Griffins.
The Griffins outshot AB 71-16 in the contest. SHU won 34 of the 37 faceoffs. They had 48 ground balls to 13 for AB.
Arnold led the Griffins with 7 points on five goals and two assists. Harper finished with four goals and two assists. Hanulak and Morrow each added two goals and two assists. Yerou, VandeWater and Cogliandro each added two goals and an assist. Fehr and Estabrooks each scored twice. Gensler and Constant had a goal and an assist.
Jack Ellis had two assists. Morris won 14 of 15 faceoffs.
Mark Strunk won 14 of 16 faceoffs.
Charlie Hudson had three caused turnovers.
Kevin Mo made four saves in two quarters of action.
The Griffins will meet #1 Tampa in a top 20 matchup on Saturday afternoon in Sparks, MD.
