Seton Hill took a break from Great Midwest Conference play as they traveled to Frostburg State for a non conference matchup under the lights on Wednesday evening.
The Griffins outscored the Bobcats 16-10 over the final three quarters as they rallied for an 18-15 win over the Bobcats. SHU improved to 8-5 on the season.
Thomas Hanulak and
Andy Davis answered Frostburg State goals as the Griffins were tied at two with 8:17 to play in the first quarter. Frostburg then scored the final three goals of the quarter to take a 5-2 lead over the Griffins after the first quarter of play.
Frostburg scored the first goal of the second quarter less than two minutes in to extend their lead to 6-2. Just 28 seconds later, Hanulak scored his second of the game to make it 6-3. The Bobcats scored twice around a
Zack Estabrooks goal as they led SHU 8-4 with 4:58 left. SHU then closed the half by scoring the final three goals of the quarter.

Jeremy Sforzo and Hanulak scored to trim the lead to 8-7 at the halftime break.
The teams exchanged goals over the first seven minutes of the second half as the score was tied at ten with 7:48 to play in the quarter. Davis scored once and Hanulak scored twice as SHU and Frostburg were tied at ten. Sforzo and Ellis then scored back to back to give SHU a two goal advantage with 6:49 left in the third. Frostburg tied the score at 12 before Davis scored with 1:54 to play in the quarter as SHU took a 13-12 lead into the fourth.
The Bobcats scored a man up goal to tie the game at 13 early in the fourth. They answered an Ellis goal with one of their own as the game was tied at 14 with 12:10 to play. Hanulak scored twice and Estabrooks scored a goal as SHU was able to extend their lead to 17-14 with 7:33 left in regulation. Sforzo was able to put the game away with a goal with 1:06 left.
Hanulak led the Griffins with a career high seven goals. Sforzo added six points on three goals and three assists. Ellis scored three times. Estabrooks added two goals and two assists. Davis scored twice.
SHU will return to action on Tuesday when they host Alderson Broaddus.
