Seton Hill took a break from G-MAC play as they hosted Frostburg State in the first game of a home and home series with the Bobcats this season.
The Griffins scored the game winning goal with 7:52 to play in regulation and played solid defense over the final eight minutes to secure a 12-11 win. SHU has now won two in a row and is 6-4 overall. FSU drops to 3-5 on the season.
Seton Hill came out of the gates firing, jumping out to a 5-1 lead after the first quarter.

Demetri Yerou and
Andy Davis scored over a minute seventeen span as SHU took an early 3-0 lead with 12:08 to play in the quarter. The Bobcats got back to within two with a goal but
McGarity Harper scored twice a minute apart to put the Griffins in front 5-1 with 6:14 left.
Frostburg opened the second quarter by scoring three straight goals to cut the SHU lead to 5-4 with 8:24 to play in the half.
Logan Gray then won a faceoff, scooped up the ground ball and scored an unassisted goal to put SHU back in front 6-4. Frostburg responded with two goals in less than a minute to tie the score at six with 5:10 left. The Griffins then closed out the scoring in the half with three goals to take a 9-6 halftime lead. Sforzo scored his second of the day and
Layne Harich and
Thomas Hanulak each scored their first of the day as SHU took a three goal lead into the halftime break.
There was not much scoring in the third quarter. Harich scored a man up goal to extend the SHU lead to 10-6 with 11:15 to play in the quarter. Frostburg scored the final two goals of the quarter to trim the SHU lead to 10-8.
Davis scored fifty seconds into the fourth quarter as SHU built its lead to 11-8. The Bobcats bounced back with three straight goals to tie the game at eleven with 9:19 to play. Sforzo's third put the Griffins back in front with 7:53 to play. The Griffin defense then stepped up as they forced five FSU turnovers over the remainder of the quarter and were able to run the clock out.
Sforzo led SHU with three goals. Davis finished with two goals and two assists. Harper scored twice and added an assist wile Harich scored twice. Hanulak added a goal and two assists. Miller finished with 15 saves. Gray was 16-23 in faceoffs.
The Griffins will continue non conference play on Saturday afternoon when they host Lake Erie.
