Seton Hill returned to G-MAC play with a road contest at Davis & Elkins on Wednesday afternoon.
Twelve different Griffins scored goals as the Griffins cruised to a 22-7 win over the Senators. SHU improved to 5-4 overall and 2-0 in G-MAC play.
The Griffins got off to a fast start in the contest, outscoring the Senators by an 8-2 margin in the first quarter. SHU took control in the game in the second half of the quarter.Â
McGarity Harper got the Griffins on the scoreboard first. Davis and Elkins then scored the next two goals to take a 2-1 lead over the Griffins. The Griffins then scored seven times over the final 6:46 of the quarter.Â
Zack Estabrooks tied the score at two just ten seconds after D&E took a 2-1 lead.Â
Andy Davis and Harper scored a minute apart to give SHU a 4-2 lead.Â
Layne Harich and Harper scored twice within 38 seconds as SHU pushed their advantage to four. Davis and Harper scored twice in the final 16 seconds of the quarter as SHU took an 8-2 lead into the second quarter. Â
The teams exchanged goals over the first two minutes of the second quarter. SHU scored the final four goals of the second quarter as they built a 13-3 halftime lead.Â

Jeremy Sforzo, Harper and
Connor Zostant scored in the 4-0 run. Â
SHU outscored the Senators 7-1 in the third quarter.Â
David St Clair, Harper and
Peyton Gensler scored in the first five minutes of the quarter to push the SHU lead to 16-3. Cogliandro scored twice and
Demetri Yerou and
Brock Schneider scored to close out the SHU scoring in the quarter. Â
Harich and
Alex Callahan scored the final two goals of the game for the Griffins. Â
Harper led the Griffins with 6 goals. Cogliandro added 3 goals. Harich with 2 goals and 3 assists. Davis added 2 goals and 2 assists. Sforzo finished with 2 goals and an assist. St Clair with a goal and 2 assists.
The Griffins will host Frostburg State next Wednesday in a non conference matchup.Â
