GAFFNEY, S.C. - The Seton Hill University men's lacrosse team's comeback attempt ran out of time as the Griffins' dropped a hard fought 15-14 contest to No. 2 Limestone in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at Saints Field in Gaffney, S.C.

• Seton Hill slips to 4-3 on the year.
• Limestone edged SHU in shots (39-35) and shots on goal (25-22).
• Seton Hill committed 12 turnovers, compared to 14 for Limestone.
• The Griffins were 12-for-14 on clears.
• SHU and Limestone were even in face offs with each winning 16.
// SHU LEADERS
• Bennett Johnson, John Miller, and Zack Estabrooks scored three goals apiece in the games. Robert Hofseth added two goals with John Hofseth, Collin Mitchell, and Dan Rupert all adding a goal each. Five Griffins - John Miller, Estabrooks, Robert Hofseth, Ryan Manbeck, and Logan Maloni - all adding one assist in the effort.
• Max Eismann finished with 10 saves in all 60:00 spent in the net.
// HOW IT HAPPENED
• Down 13-9 at the end of the third, John Miller sparked the comeback attempt with two straight goals to make it 13-11 with 11:06 remaining in the fourth. Limestone's Tyler Ponzio's goal pushed the lead out to 14-11 shortly after, but Zack Estabrooks scored with 6:44 remaining to cut the deficit to 14-12. After a Nelson Logan goal gave Limestone a 15-12 lead, it was Estabrooks again bringing it back to just two, 15-13, with 3:19 to go. Bennett Johnson's goal with 2:39 remaining cut the Saint lead to just one, 15-14. However, a shot by Johnson went wide and another by Ryan Manbeck was blocked, and the Saints held on the for the win.
