The Griffins continued their two game road trip with a PSAC West contest at Clarion on Saturday afternoon.
Clarion scored on a penalty kick late in the first half for a 1-0 win over the Griffins. The Griffins fall to 6-8 overall and 6-6 in PSAC West play. Clarion improves to 4-9-1 overall and 3-9-1 in PSAC West play.
Seton Hill outshot the Golden Eagles 6-3 in the first half but found themselves down 1-0 at the half as Clarion took advantage of a foul in the box and completed the penalty kick for a 1-0 lead with 7:52 to play in the half. The Griffins had two corner kicks to one for Clarion in the half.
The Griffins again outshot the Golden Eagles in the second half but could not find the back of the net. SHU registered six shots to just one for Clarion in the half. SHU had three corner kicks to two for the Golden Eagles.
Elyza Pilatowski-Herzing finished the contest with one save.
Sammantha Jackson led the Griffins with three shots on goal.
Alexis Garia added two shots on goal.
The Griffins will host Mercyhurst in another PSAC West contest at 1:30 PM.
