Before SHU:
4-year Varsity starter for Mercyhurst Preparatory School, leading them to two PIAA Semifinals, a District 10 Championship, and 3 Regional Championships. She was team captain her senior year. Elyza was awarded District 10 Goal Keeper, All Region First Team accolades. She was also awarded the MPS Outstanding Athlete Award. She was a member of the MSA Soccer Club where she played for the ’98, ’96, and ’94 teams, winning numerous tournaments including the Nike Elite Cup and the Ohio Adidas Cup. Also a 4-year member of the PA West Region 1 ODP (Olympic Development Program) ’98 team, member of the Elite Soccer United team, traveling to Disney World winning the Disney’s Presidents Day Tournament and being named MVP. Elyza graduated with High Honors and was a member of the National Honors Society.
