VIENNA, WV -
Jack Moran scored a season-high three goals and #10 Seton Hill scored early and often on their way to a 15-4 win over Ohio Valley University (WV) in Great Midwest Athletic Conference men's lacrosse action on Tuesday afternoon at the OVU Lacrosse Field in Vienna, WV.
The win improves Seton Hill's record to 9-4 (4-2 G-MAC). Ohio Valley falls to 4-9 (1-4 G-MAC) for the 2017 season.
Jack Moran led the offensive effort with four goals.
John Hofseth had three and
Sean Stanners came away with two goals.
Jay Scerbo,
Adam Reimer,
Riley Martin,
Shane Pettke,
Kevin Gillen, and
Andrew DeSana all scored goals in the win. Hofseth and
Bennett Johnson added two assists each with
Ryan McHugh, Stanners,
Marshall Case, Reimer,
John Miller,
Collin Mitchell, and
Logan Maloni each had a hand in goals.
Max Eismann (4-0) had three saves and spent the first 24:29 in goal for Seton Hill.
Merritt Bailey had six saves, and
Rhett Baldwin had two of his own for the Griffins. Caden Rites grabbed 13 saves in net for OVU.
The Griffins will look to close out the regular season when they travel to Wheeling, WV on April 29th to take on Wheeling Jesuit University. The non-conference tilt is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
