Seton Hill got off to a great start at #8 Pitt Johnstown on Wednesday evening as they won three of the first four matches but the Mountain Cats were too strong in the higher weights as they won the final six matches for a 26-10 victory.  UPJ improves to 9-2 in dual matches and 3-0 in PSAC duals.  SHU drops to 3-5 in dual matches and 1-4 in PSAC duals.

Alan Diltz got the Griffins on the scoreboard first with a 4-0 decision win over Zeke Beatty in the 125 pound weight class.  Beatty was ranked sixth in the region in the last regional rankings.  Tyler Kenney followed with a major decision (13-5) win at 133 pounds.  Kenney defeated Tanner Cahill who was ranked seventh in the latest regional rankings.  SHU led 7-0 after Kenney's win.  Austin Shaw dropped a tough 6-4 decision at 141 pounds to #6 Chris Eddins.  #7 Ty Lydic increased the Griffins lead to 10-3 with a 6-5 decision win at 149 pounds. 

That would be the last Griffin win on the evening.  UPJ sent out three national ranked wrestlers over the final six matches, with UPJ winning all six of the matches.  #2 ranked Cody Law defeated Zach Voytek at 157 pounds.  #11 John Blankenship defeated Zach Mattucci at 174 pounds and #11 DJ Sims knocked off Lou Maser at 285 pounds. 

SHU will take part in the Kutztown Duals this weekend.  SHU will wrestle East Stroudsburg and Minot State on Friday and Tiffin and American International on Saturday.
