GREENSBURG, Pa. - The Seton Hill volleyball team swept Cheyney University (25-9, 25-17, 25-15) in PSAC action on Saturday afternoon at the Katherine Mabis McKenna Center.
Seton Hill improves their record to 10-4 overall. The Griffins are now 2-0 in PSAC play. Cheyney falls to just 1-7 on the season and 0-2 in the PSAC.
Seton Hill's offensive attack was led by
Katie Wenson's 11 kills.
Cassie Hausfeld had nine kills, and
Jillian Livorse had seven.
Danielle Nese had two aces while Hausfeld and
Mary Baich had one apiece.
Taylor Sabol had 34 assists in the match.
Leah Bisignani finished with a match-high two blocks. Sabol had six digs while Wenson and Hausfeld added five apiece, respectively.
Alaiya Cave led Cheyney with six kills with Chelsea Hutson and Mary Flores chipping in five and two kills apiece. Bryanna Taylor had eight assists and 10 digs for the Wolves.
Seton HIll will next travel to Kutztown, Pa. to take on Kutztown University on Friday, September 30th. That match is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start.
