ERIE, Pa. - Mercyhurst University used a big third quarter to snap a six-game win streak for the Seton Hill Univesity men's lacrosse team, handing the Griffins an 11-8 loss on Saturday afternoon.
Seton Hill University slips to 6-1 (1-1 ECAC) on the year while Mercyhurst improves to 5-1 (3-0 ECAC).
Zach Hartmann led SHU with three goals in the game.
Zack Rusch chipped in two goals of his own and added an assist.

The Lakers were paced by James Crowe's four goals. Derek Richards and Keyan McQueen added two goals apiece. Connor Enright, Oran Horn, and Kurtis Woodland each came away with a goal in the contest.
Mercyhurst outshot Seton Hill by a 33-23 margin, including 24-16 on goal. Seton Hill committed 21 turnovers compared to 18 for the Lakers. Seton Hill was 2-for-5 in extra man opportunities while Merchurst was 2-for-6.
Seton Hill returns to action on Saturday, March 26th when they welcome the #1 ranked Limestone College to Dick's Sporting Goods Field in Greensburg. That game is set to start at 12:00 PM.
