GREENSBURG, Pa. - The Seton Hill University men's lacrosse team fell to the #1 ranked Limestone College, 19-8, in non-conference action on Saturday, March 26th at Dick's Sporting Goods Field.
Seton Hill drops to 6-2 (0-1 ECAC) while Limestone College improves to (11-0, 2-0 CC).
Zach Hartmann and
Jack Miller scored two goals apiece in the effort for SHU.
Zack Rusch, Hunter Hayeys,
Sean Stanners, and
Bennett Johnson all added goals on the day.
Merritt Bailey picked up the loss, spending all 60:00 in the net. Bailey finished with 12 saves.
Mike Messenger scored five goals to lead Limestone College. Kyle Rhatigan had four, and Vinny Ricci and Ryan Maciejewski had three apiece. Jordan Saunderson score two, and Charlie Sheehan and Chris Clancy each added one goal. Patrick Sheridan got the win for the Saints, spending 45:00 in the net and finishing with 12 saves.
Seton Hill will host Lake Erie College in ECAC action on Saturday, April 2nd. That game is set to start at 1:00 PM.
