GREENSBURG, Pa. - The Seton Hill University team fell to Edinboro University in PSAC volleyball action, 3-0 (25-18, 25-23 25-15), Saturday afternoon at the McKenna Center on the campus of Seton Hill University.
With the loss, the Griffins fall to 13-5 overall and 5-1 in the PSAC. Edinboro improves to 13-4 overall and 6-0 in conference play.
Cassie Hausfeld led the SHU offense with 11 kills in the match.
Rachel Satira added 10 kills, and
Leah Bisignani had seven of her own. Bisignani led the Griffins with five blocks, while Satira and
Katie Wenson had four and two blocks.
Maggie Murray had 31 assists in the match, while
Mary Baich had a match-high 18 digs.
Challen Litwiler paced the Fighting Scots with a match-high 15 kills. Taylor Palowski had a match-high of her own as she had four aces. Sydney Trathen added 39 assists, and Litwiler came away with 16 digs in the match.
Seton Hill returns to the McKenna Center on Tuesday, October 11th when they take on California University of Pennsylvania.Â
