Seton Hill traveled to Shippensburg for a tri match on Tuesday evening.  SHU took on Belmont Abbey in their first match and Shippensburg in the second match of the day.  The Griffins got four wins by tech fall and one more win by fall in a 34-13 victory over Belmont Abbey.  Seton Hill then dropped the nightcap by the score of 24-15 to Shippensburg.  SHU is now 4-2 on the season in dual matches and 2-2 in PSAC duals.
 
Collin Dees got the Griffins off to a great start with an 18-2 tech fall win in the 125 pound match.  After a forfeit at 133, Joseph Alessandro continued the Griffin tech fall wins with an 18-0 tech fall win at 141 pounds.  Ty Lydic followed with a 19-2 tech fall win at 149 pounds and the Griffins held a 15-6 lead after four matches.  Belmont Abbey won the 157 pound match before Tanner Druck got the Griffins back in the winning ways with a 7-6 victory at 165 pounds.  Druck's win started a four match win streak for the Griffins.  Luke Shaffer posted a 19-0 tech fall win at 174 pounds.  Morris Lawson then followed with a first period pin at 2:49 in the 184 pound match.  Jacob Temple closed out the SHU wins with a 17-0 tech fall win at 197 pounds. 

Shippensburg jumped out to a 9-0 lead after the first two matches.  Alessandro got the Griffins on the board with a 16-2 major decision victory at 141 pounds.  Lydic then trimmed the Ship lead to 9-7 with a 7-5 decision at 149 pounds.  Ship then responded with a three match win streak to take control of the match and an 18-6 advantage.  Lawson ended the Ship streak with a 10-4 decision victory at 184 pounds.  Alex Soutiere closed out the match with a win by pinfall at 1:02 of the second period.

Seton Hill will return to action when they host West Liberty on January 16th at 7 PM.
