Seton Hill University women's soccer coach
John Fogle announced his retirement effective April 30, 2015 after over forty years of work at Seton Hill as a coach and administrator.

John was hired at the Activities Director at Seton Hill in 1972. Fogle is credited with starting many of the sports programs at Seton Hill and helping the school as they made the move to join the NAIA in the late 1970's. Coach Fogle stated, "Someone asked me what will I miss most about Seton Hill and I told them everything. I just want to thank all of the wonderful people that I've met since day one, including the amazing students, student athletes and colleagues. May God bless you as much as he's blessed me."

John has spent over 25 years as the women's soccer coach at Seton Hill, starting the program in 1987. His career is highlighted by four consecutive NAIA District Championships in 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1992. Under Fogle's direction, the Griffins finished 6th in the nation in 1991 which earned him NAIA Regional Coach of the Year honors. Seton Hill has had three NAIA All-American soccer players during Fogle's tenure. Since joining the NCAA, coach Fogle has had 19 players earn all conference honors.Â

In 2006, Coach Fogle was inducted as part of the first class of the Seton Hill University Athletics Hall of Fame. Over his forty years at Seton Hill, Coach Fogle has coached 15 players who are members of the Seton Hill University Athletics Hall of Fame.

In addition to his head soccer coaching duties, Fogle has also served as head softball coach and head women's volleyball coach. He has been an instructor in the Education department at Seton Hill as well.

Andy McNab will take over for Fogle on an interim basis and a search for a full time replacement will be conducted.Â
