The Griffins tennis team closed out its Spring Break trip in Florida with a matchup with Penn State Berks at Liberty High School in Kissimmee, FL.  The Griffins sewpt all 9 matches for a 9-0 win.  SHU closed the Florida trip with a 4-3 record and is 6-5 on the season.

The doubles teams of Megan Hudak/Paula Carvajalino and Sara Ruiz/Isidora Knezevic both swept their doubles matches by 8-0 scores.  The team of Alisha Torretti/Chelsea Pence won their match by a 8-3 score.  Hudak won her singles match 6-0, 6-0.  Ruiz also had a clean sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 win.  Knezevic won her first set 6-0 and then won by default.  Carvajalino took her singles match by a 6-1, 6-1 score.  Pence won 7-6 (7-2), 10-1 and Torretti earned a 6-3, 6-2 win.

SHU will return to action on March 20th when they host Goldey Beacom.
