The Griffin tennis team closed out their season with a pair of matches on Sunday,  SHU hosted Lock Haven to wrap up PSAC action before traveling to Washington & Jefferson for a non conference matchup to end the season.  

The Griffins defeated Lock Haven 7-0 and then completed the sweep with a 6-1 victory over W&J.  SHU closed the season with a 4-9 record and a 2-6 mark in conference play.

Against Lock Haven, the Griffins took all three doubles matches.  The team of Carissa Shepard and Maria Pereda won 6-3.  Alexandra Wolf and Kaylee Kanuka won by a 6-0 score.  Alycia Derr and Jaime Kallet won by a 6-1 score.  SHU also won all six singles matches.  Shepard won 6-0, 6-1.  Pereda won 6-4, 6-1.  Wolf won 6-2, 3-6, 12-10.  Kanuka won 6-2, 6-2.  Derr won 6-1, 6-0.  Kallet won 6-0, 6-0.  

Against Washington & Jefferson, SHU won two of the three doubles matches.  Shepard/Pereda won 6-3 and Wolf/Kanuka won 6-0.  The Griffins then won five singles matches.  Shepard won 7-5, 6-2.  Pereda won 6-1, 3-6, 12-10.  Wolf won 6-2, 6-2.  Kanuka won 6-3, 6-1.  Kallet won 6-3, 6-0.
