Seton Hill University Men’s Lacrosse program is very fortunate to have a unique partnership with Tyler Zimmer for our Strength, Conditioning, and Performance Development.  Coach Zimmer is a 2015 graduate of Seton Hill University.  He is the current owner of Alphalete Performance and Fitness where he specializes in training and development of athletes of various ages and abilities.    
 
Tyler is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).  He is a Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).  He is a certified IYCA Youth Fitness Instructor.   Tyler is also certified CPR/AED with the American Heart Association.   
 
Tyler excelled in the classroom and on the field while at Seton Hill University.  As a standout linebacker Tyler possessed great leadership and was named a Captain of the football team in 2014 & 2015.  He currently holds the single season tackles and sack record for Seton Hill.  He was named a First Team All American, the first Seton Hill Football player to earn such an award.   Tyler was also twice named a Capital One Academic All American.  
 
Tyler holds degrees in Elementary and Special education.  During his college career he studied development of gross and fine motor skills and exercise science. 
 
Tyler is extremely active in the community and strives to develop his clients mentally, physically, and spiritually!
