Seton Hill played their final contest before PSAC West play begins as they traveled to Wheeling for a non conference matchup with the Cardinals on Saturday evening.
The Griffins scored the first goal of the contest but the Cards scored the final five goals of the contest for a 5-1 win over the Griffins. SHU is now 2-3-2 overall.
Paul Eder got the Griffins on the scoreboard first with a goal in the 10th minute of the contest. Wheeling answered with a pair of goals to close out the half and took a 2-1 lead into the halftime break.
Wheeling added three more goals in the second half for the 5-1 win.
The Griffins begin PSAC West play on Wednesday afternoon when they host Slippery Rock.
