The Griffins closed out play in their own Volleyball Classic with a matchup with the University of Charleston on Saturday afternoon.
SHU defeated the Golden Eagles by the score of 3-1 to improve to 7-3 on the season,
Seton Hill dominated the first set with a 25-11 victory. The Golden Eagles fought back in the second set but the Griffins won the set with a 28-26 second set win. UC won the third set by the score of 25-19. The Griffins closed out the match with a 25-21 win in the fourth set.
Catie Flohr led the Griffins with 19 kills.
Maddie Stout added 12 kills.
Emma Meurer added eight kills.
Mallory Meinen led the offense with 42 assists. Flohr and Meinen led the Griffins with five blocks.
Kendyl Wagner led SHU with 19 digs.
The Griffins will begin PSAC West play next Friday evening when they host Indiana (PA).
