Seton Hill began PSAC West play on Friday evening as they hosted Indiana (PA) in the McKenna Center.
The Crimson Hawks swept the Griffins as they opened PSAC West play. SHU is now 7-4 overall and 0-1 in the west and IUP improves to 9-3 overall and 1-0 in the west.
The Griffins led IUP 23-21 in the first set but the Crimson Hawks scored the final four points of the set as they took a 1-0 lead with a 25-23 first set win. IUP scored the first nine points of the second set as they took a 2-0 lead with a 25-22 second set win. The Crimson Hawks closed out the match with a 25-17 third set win.
Catie Flohr led the Griffins with 16 kills.
Courtney Smith added eight.
Mallory Meinen ran the offense with 24 assists.
Kendyl Wagner finished with nine digs.
SHU will travel to Edinboro next Friday for another PSAC West contest.
