Seton Hill began their 2026 season at the Lake Erie Storm Volleyball Classic on Friday afternoon with a matchup with Point Park.
The Griffins defeated the Pioneers in three sets for the season opening win and the first win in the head coaching career of
Cassidy Snider.
SHU dominated the first set, winning by the score of 25-6. SHU took a 2-0 lead with a 25-14 second set win. The Griffins closed out the match with a 25-20 win in the third set.
Catie Flohr and
Maddie Stout each had 9 kills in the win.
Courtney Smith added 8 kills.
Mallory Meinen led the offense with 27 assists.
Kendyl Wagner paced the Griffins with 14 digs.
SHU continues play in the Storm Volleyball Classic on Saturday with a matchups with the host Lake Erie and Slippery Rock.
