Seton Hill opened the 2026 season with a home contest against Davis & Elkins on Thursday afternoon in Greensburg.
Davis & Elkins scored off a free kick in the 25th minute for a 1-0 victory over the Griffins.
Neither team was able to get on the scoreboard until the 25 minute when the Senators took advantage of a free kick. They found a loose ball in the box to score the game winner.
The Griffins outschot the Senators 17-3 in the contest.
SHU will open PSAC West play on Sunday at Gannon.
