Cody, Hannigan Highlight All G-MAC Teams

The Seton Hill men's lacrosse team was honored by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference as the league announced its major award winners and All Conference teams.  The league announced the award winners on Wednesday afternoon and they were voted on by the league's head coaches.  

After winning the G-MAC regular season title, the Griffins earned two of the six of the league's major awards and had ten players earn All Conference honors.  

Senior Will Cody was named the G-MAC Goalie of the Year.  Dexter Hannigan was named the G-MAC Freshman of the Year.  It is the third straight season that Cody has won the goalie of the year award.  

Seven Griffins earned first team All G-MAC honors including Hannigan and Cody.  Seniors Carter Green, Ryan McCann and Kaden Granberg also earned first team honors.  Juniors Cullen Green and Austin Day also earned first team honors.  

Three other Griffins earned second team honors.  They included Nate Herbster, Carter Li and Alex Hatalsky.  

This is the fourth all conference honor for Carter Green.  Herbster and Cody each have three all conference honors.  Cullen Green earned his second all conference honor. 

Cody has a 13-2 record this season with a 6.67 goals against average.  He has made 161 saves.  Hannigan leads the Griffins with 40 goals and 48 points.  Carter Green leads the Griffins with 23 assists.  He added 15 goals.  McCann had 14 ground balls and 5 caused turnovers.  Granberg is second on the team with 27 goals.  He added 6 assists.  Cullen Green leads the Griffins with 24 caused turnovers.  He added 39 ground balls.  Day was second with 21 caused turnovers.  He added 45 ground balls.  

Herbster tied for third on the team with 26 goals.  He added 11 assists.  Li also scored 26 times and added 17 assists.  Hatalsky added 21 ground balls and 9 caused turnovers.
