Seton Hill traveled to Shepherdstown, WV on Tuesday afternoon for a non conference matchup with Shepherd.
The Rams scored multiple runs in three different innings as they defeated the Griffins by the score of 10-4. SHU sees its winning streak end at 10 and drops to 21-6.
SHU scored twice in the top of the first inning.
Jack Whalen singled and scored when
Brady McGuire was thrown out trying to steal second.
Owen Henne followed with a solo homer to give SHU a 2-0 lead.
Shepherd scored four in their half of the first to take a 4-2 lead. The Rams added one in the second and three more in the fifth as they took an 8-2 lead.
Nate Dorinsky had an RBI single in the sixth and
Gage Wheaton homered to lead off the seventh as SHU cut the lead to 8-4.
Wheaton, Henne, McGuire and
Colin Ahr each had two hits. Wheaton and Henne each homered.
SHU will begin a four game set with Lock Haven on Friday in Lock Haven.
