Seton Hill closed out play in the Glenville State Tourney with a pair of games on Saturday afternoon.  

SHU defeated WV Wesleyan 5-0 in game one of the day.  The Griffins then dropped a 11-2 decision to WV State in the nightcap.

In the second, Lacey Lynn singled and pinch runner Lexie Washington later scored on a Gabby Jaquay RBI groundout.  SHU added three more in the third.  Abby Dejidas doubled and Kassidy Wittig singled to put two runners on.  Both scored when Shelby Telegdy reached on an error.  Pinch runner Chloe Orecchio later scored on a passed ball as SHU took a 4-0 lead.  

Abby Smearman doubled to lead off the fourth.  She scored on an RBI groundout from Juliette Vybiral.  

Dejidas led the Griffins with three hits.  Smearman added two.  Telegdy earned the win with a complete game five hitter.  She struck out five.  

WV State took a 4-0 lead over the Griffins after two and a half innings.  Amber Wilkes singled to lead off the third and scored on a Wittig RBI single.  In the fourth, Taylor Schmitt doubled in Vybiral who walked.  

Wittig and Wilkes each had two hits.

SHU will return to action on March 1st in Florida on their spring break trip.
