Seton Hill made the short trip to Indiana (PA) for a matchup with the fifth ranked Crimson Hawks on Wednesday evening.
The fifth ranked Crimson Hawks pulled away from the Griffins in the second half in an 85-69 victory over the Griffins. SHU falls to 16-7 overall and 12-5 in the PSAC while IUP improves to 22-1 overall and 16-1 in the PSAC.
The first four minutes of the contest were tightly played as the Griffins led 7-4. SHU then went on a 15-1 run over the next four minutes as they got hot from behind the arc.

Hallie Cowan added a pair as SHU took an 18-6 lead with 3:21 left in the quarter. Layups from
Hailee Ford and Mankins extended the lead to 22-7 with 2:02 to play. SHU led 22-12 after one quarter of play.
The teams exchanged baskets over the first five minutes of the second quarter with the Griffins continuing to hold a ten point lead, 28-18, at the media timeout with 4:58 left in the half. A three point play from
Shaye Bailey extended the Griffin lead to 33-20 with 3:58 left in the half. IUP closed the half on a 17-6 run as they cut the Griffin lead to 39-37 at the halftime break.
The Griffins started 1-10 from the floor in the third and IUP took advantage of the cold shooting as they went on a 18-4 run over the first five minutes of the half as they took a 55-43 lead. A three pointer from
Hallie Cowan cut the IUP lead to 66-55 with 1:04 left in the third.
Hallie Cowan led the Griffins with 28 points. Bailey added 12 points for the Griffins. Ford finished with nine points.
The Griffins will travel to Slippery Rock on Saturday afternoon as they continue PSAC West action.
