Seton Hill traveled to North Canton, OH for the Walsh Tournament on Friday afternoon where the Griffins played a pair of matches.
SHU opened play against Northwood and then battled the host Cavaliers later in the afternoon.
Northwood defeated the Griffins by a 3-0 score and the Griffins then dropped their second contest of the day as they fell 3-1 to Walsh. SHU is now 4-2 on the season.
Northwood defeated the Griffins 25-15 in the first set. They closed out the match with a 25-13 second set win and a 25-12 third set win.
Catie Flohr led the Griffins with nine kills.
Payton Rodberg added six kills.
Mallory Meinen and
Ella Deeter each had 12 assists.
Kendyl Wagner finished with 11 digs.
SHU defeated Walsh 25-18 in the first set. Walsh then rallied to win the next three sets. They won the second 25-21. Walsh took the third 25-20 and then closed out the match with a 25-21 fourth set win.
Rodberg led SHU with 18 kills. Flohr added 11 and Deeter added nine. Deeter had 23 assists and Meinen added 20. Wagner added 14 digs.
SHU will travel to Daytona Beach next weekend for the Embry Riddle Tourney.
