The Seton Hill men's lacrosse team was honored by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference as the league announced its major award winners and All Conference teams. The league announced the award winners on Wednesday afternoon and they were voted on by the league's head coaches.
After winning the G-MAC regular season title, the Griffins earned five of the six of the league's major awards and had twelve players earn All Conference honors.
Senior
Braedan Lockyer was named the G-MAC Offensive Player of the Year. Senior
Charlie Hudson was named the G-MAC Defensive Player of the Year. Senior
Mark Strunk was named the G-MAC Specialist of the Year. Junior
Will Cody was named the G-MAC Goalie of the Year and
Brian Novotny was named the G-MAC Coach of the Year. The five winners are the most ever by a Griffin team. Its the second straight season Cody has been named Goalie of the Year.
Nine Griffins earned first team All G-MAC honors including Lockyer, Hudson, Strunk and Cody. Seniors
Alex Callahan and
Justin Dian also earned first team honors. Juniors
Wade Brunelle and
Carter Green along with sophomore
Cullen Green all earned first team honors.
Three other Griffins earned second team honors. They included seniors
Connor Zostant and
Holden Charboneau and junior
Nate Herbster.
This is the fourth all conference honor for Charboneau. Strunk, Green and Hudson each have three while Herbster, Lockyer and Cody all have two.
Lockyer leads the Griffins in goals, assists and points. He has 45 goals and 32 assists on the season. Hudson has 17 caused turnovers and 26 ground balls. Strunk has won 78% of his faceoffs. He also leads with 121 ground balls while adding six goals. Cody is 15-1 in cage with a 5.19 goals against average. He has made 112 saves.
Novotny has led the team to the G-MAC Regular Season title and a #3 ranking in the USILA Division II Coaches Poll. This is the fourth time he has earned the award. He won the award in 2018, 2019, 2023 and 2025.
Callahan tied for the team lead with 17 caused turnovers. He also added 24 ground balls. Dian is second on the team with 48 ground balls while causing 12 turnovers. Brunelle is second on the team in goals, assists and points He has 44 goals and 28 assists.
Carter Green has scored 25 goals while adding 21 assists.
Cullen Green has 42 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers.
Zostant is fourth on the team with 26 goals while adding 7 assists. Charboneau has 12 caused turnovers and 19 ground balls. Herbster is third on the team with 38 goals while adding 12 assists.
