Seton Hill hosted Lock Haven in a PSAC West matchup on Wednesday afternoon in Greensburg.
Skylar Orlowski scored her 200th career goal as the Griffins led from the get go in a 16-7 victory over the Bald Eagles. SHU is now 10-4 overall and 6-1 in the PSAC West. Â
The first period was all Seton Hill as they outscored Lock Haven 6-0 in the quarter. Orlowski opened the scoring just over four minutes into the contest.Â
Mila Udovicic and Orlowski scored a minute apart as SHU led 3-0 with 8:35 to play.Â
Ella Wroblewski and
Amara Forsyth scored as SHU extended the lead to five. Orlowski then netted career goal 200 at the 1:14 mark of the first quarter to extend the lead to 6-0.Â
The teams exchanged goals in the second quarter with Lock Haven outscoring the Griffins 4-3 in the quarter. Orlowski,
Sydney Marusko and
Grace Agnello scored for the Griffins in the second quarter. Â
Orlowski scored a pair in the third quarter with Agnello adding a second as SHU led 12-5 at the end of the third quarter. Â
After Lock Haven scored the opening goal of the fourth quarter, SHU ran off three straight to put the game out of reach. Agnello, Forsyth and
Brooklyn Miller scored the Griffin goals in the 3-0 run.Â
Emma Haynes scored the final goal of the contest for the Griffins. Â
Orlowski led SHU with six goals. She added two assists. Udovicic finished with a goal and eight assists. Agnello scored three times and added an assist. Forsyth finished with two goals.Â
Allison Hathaway made 11 saves in the win. Â
SHU will travel to Edinboro on Saturday afternoon for another PSAC West matchup. Â
