Griffins Double Up Lock Haven

Seton Hill continued PSAC West play on Wednesday afternoon with a road matchup at Lock Haven.

The Griffins doubled up Lock Haven by the score of 12-6 as they improved to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in the PSAC West.  

The teams exchanged goals over the first period.  SHU opened the scoring with a goal from Ruby DePalma less than a minute into the contest.  Lock Haven answered with a goal before Grace Agnello scored with 9:20 left as SHU took a 2-1 lead.  Mila Udovicic answered a LHU goal with a goal with four minutes left as SHU took a 3-2 lead after one quarter of action.  

Udovicic and Agnello scored over the first six minutes of the second period as SHU extended their lead to 5-2 with 8:46 left in the half.  Lock Haven scored the final two goals of the half as they cut the Griffins lead to 5-4 at the halftime break.  

SHU scored two goals in the first three minutes of the third quarter as the Griffins built a 7-4 lead.  Agnello and Amara Forsyth scored for the Griffins as they led by three with 12:15 left in the quarter.  Skylar Orlowski scored on a free position shot with 7:27 left in the quarter as the Griffins took an 8-4 lead.  

Sydney Marusko scored a pair of goals in the first four minutes of the fourth quarter as they Griffins extended their lead to five with 11:14 left in the contest.  Udovicic scored with 1:55 left and Orlowski added one with 11 seconds left to close out the scoring in the contest.  

Udovicic led the Griffins with three goals and five assists.  Agnello added three goals and two assists.  Marusko scored a pair of goals.  Skylar Orlowski finished with two goals and assist.  Allison Hathaway added seven saves in the win.  

The Griffins will host Edinboro on Saturday afternoon in a PSAC West contest that will be the home opener for the Griffins.
