Seton Hill closed out 2025 with PSAC Crossover action and a road matchup at Bloomsburg on Sunday afternoon.
The Griffins jumped out to a twenty four halftime lead and cruised to an 85-49 victory over the Huskies. SHU is now 8-2 overall and 4-0 in the PSAC.
SHU jumped out to an 11-2 lead just over three minutes into the contest behind five points from
Hallie Cowan and four points from
Helene Cowan. Later in the quarter, the Griffins went on a 9-0 run to build a 22-6 lead with 1:56 to play.
Mia Kalich had four points in the run and
Emma Fischer capped the run with a three. SHU led 24-11 after the first quarter.
The Huskies trailed by twelve at the 6:34 minute mark but the Griffins then went on a 13-0 run that gave them a 42-17 lead with 2:32 to play in the first half. The Griffins carried a 46-22 lead into the halftime break.
Bloomsburg cut the Griffins lead to sixteen points at the midway point of the third quarter but the Griffins responded with a 12-0 run that put the game away. SHU led 64-37 after three quarters of play.
SHU shot 46% from the floor in the win while holding Bloomsburg to just 38%. The Griffins forced 28 turnovers which led to 37 Griffin points.
Hallie Cowan led three Griffins in double figures with 20 points.
Mia Kalich posts a triple double of 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals.
Helene Cowan also added 18 points.
The Griffins will host Kutztown on January 2nd as they begin 2026 with a PSAC Crossover matchup.
