Seton Hill continued non conference action as they traveled to WV Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon to meet the Bobcats.
The Griffins outscored the Bobcats 48-34 in the second half as they rallied for am 81-70 victory. SHU is now 4-0 on the season. Â
SHU scored the first six points of the contest in less than two minutes of action. A layin from
Kedrick Curtis gave the Griffins a 13-4 lead with 15 minutes to play. The Bobcats answered back with 11 straight as they took a 15-13 lead at the 12:41 mark.Â
Camden Brewer hit a three to end the run. Wesleyan built their lead to 30-21 with 6:45 to play in the half. SHU responded with a 12-0 run as they took a 33-30 lead with 2:57 to play on a
Brandon Coury three. Wesleyan led 36-33 at the halftime break. Â
Five points from Brewer gave SHU a 52-42 lead with 14 minutes to play. SHU later used an 8-0 to increase their lead to 67-50 with 8:10 left. Wesleyan would get no closer than eight points down the stretch,
Curtis leads five Griffins in double figures with 20. Brewer added 15 points.
Rashaad Williams & Coury each with 13 points.Â
Edir Ortiz finished with 12 points.
The Griffins will host Pitt Greensburg on Tuesday afternoon in another non conference matchup. Â
