Seton Hill closed out their regular season with a home matchup with Indiana (PA) on Saturday afternoon in the McKenna Center.
The Crimson Hawks rallied from 2-1 down to defeat the Griffins in five. SHU falls to 15-11 overall and 7-7 in the west while IUP improves to 20-7 overall and 9-5 in the west.
IUP defeated the Griffins by the score of 25-21 in the first set. SHU rallied with a 27-25 second set win to even the match at one.
The Griffins played their best set of the match as they took a 2-1 lead over the Crimson Hawks with a 25-17 third set win.
Indiana (PA) rallied to send the match to a fifth set with a 25-20 fourth set win. The Crimson Hawks closed out the match with a 16-14 fifth set win.
Catie Flohr led the Griffins with 17 kills.
Payton Rodberg added 12 kills.
Mallory Meinen paced the offense with 29 assists. Flohr led SHU with eight blocks.
Kendyl Wagner had a match high 27 digs. She also went over the 1,000 career dig mark in the first set of the match.
Maddie Stout had 22 digs and Rodberg finished with 20.
Seton Hill earned the fourth seed out of the PSAC West and will travel to top seed from the East East Stroudsburg on Tuesday evening in a PSAC Quarterfinal.
