The Griffin men's soccer team opened the 2024 season on the road at Ohio Dominican under the lights in Columbus, Ohio.
Seton Hill scored a pair of second half goals in the 2-0 victory over the Panthers as they open the season with a 1-0 record.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first half. SHU outshot Ohio Dominican 8-1 in the first half. Each team had one corner kick in the half.
Just over five minutes into the second half,
Vasilis Christodoulou gave the Griffins a 1-0 lead. A little over fifteen minutes later,
Julian Marker extended the Griffins lead to 2-0.
Aiden Hollander recorded two saves in net in the shutout win. Christodoulou led SHU with three shots. Marker and
Keegan Amos each had two shots on goal.
The Griffins will host Millersville on Wednesday afternoon in another non conference matchup.
