Seton Hill continued non conference action as they hosted defending PSAC Champion Millersville on Wednesday afternoon in Greensburg.
The Griffins scored a second half goal and were able to keep the Marauders off the scoreboard in a 1-0 win. SHU is now 2-0 on the season.
Both teams were held off the scoreboard in the first half of the contest. SHU outshot the Marauders 6-2 in the half. The Griffins had four corner kicks to none for Millersville.
Just over sixteen minutes into the second half the Griffins got on the scoreboard.
James Aubrey crossed a pass to
Nils Heinrich whose shot was stopped by the Millersville keeper but the rebound bounced to Julien Marker who put it into the back of the net for a 1-0 SHU lead. The Griffins kept the Marauders off the scoreboard in the final 27 minutes to close out the win.
Aiden Hollander recorded the shutout win in net for the Griffins.
Vasilis Christodoulou led SHU with two shots on goal.
SHU will continue non conference play on Saturday when they travel to UDC.
