Seton Hill continued non conference play with a road contest at the University of District of Columbia on Saturday afternoon.
SHU scored three second half goals in route to a 3-1 victory over the Firebirds. SHU improves to 3-0 on the season.
Just under 18 minutes into the first half, the Firebirds took a 1-0 lead over the Griffins on a penalty kick. UDC led 1-0 at the halftime break.
Less than four minutes into the second half, the Griffins tied the game at one on a
Tom Frank goal.
Benjamin Nicholson assisted on the goal. With just under 27 minutes to play, Gandhi scored the game winning goal off an assist from
Ron Klinger as SHU took a 2-1 lead. Later in the half, Gandhi scored his second of the game to extend the lead to 3-1.
Nils Heinrich assisted on the second Gandhi goal.
Gandhi led the Griffins with a pair of goals.
Aiden Hollander recorded four saves in net in the win.
SHU will play Roberts Wesleyan at home on Wednesday afternoon.
