Seton Hill hosted D'Youville on Wednesday afternoon in their final warm up before PSAC West play begins this weekend.
The visiting Saints scored a pair of first half goals in route to a 2-1 victory over the Griffins. SHU is now 4-1-1 overall while the Saints are 2-2 overall.
D'Youville took a 1-0 lead over the Griffins in the 18th minute of the contest. With a little over seven minutes to play, the Saints increased their lead to 2-0. SHU cut the lead in half with 3:25 to play in the first half.
Brice Gandhi took the free kick and found
Oscar Heggem in the box and Heggem's header beat the keeper to trim the lead to 2-1.
D'Youville outshot the Griffins 7-3 in the first half. Both teams had two corners in the half.
Shots were 6-5 in the second half in favor of the Saints. SHU had four corner kicks to one for the Saints.
Jonathan Leary had seven saves in net.
SHU will travel to Gannon on Saturday afternoon for the first PSAC West game of the season.
