Seton Hill took a break from PSAC West play as they hosted Fairmont State in a non conference matchup on Tuesday afternoon.

The Griffins used a seven run fourth inning as they defeated the Falcons by the score of 11-0.  SHU is now 22-9 overall.  

The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the fourth inning when the Griffins scored seven times.  Owen Mandler led off the inning with a double.  Max Mandler singled to put runners on first and third.  They moved up on a passed ball to give SHU a 1-0 lead.  Elijah Snider and Owen Sabol walked to load the bases.  Braden Durham tripled to clear the bases and extend the lead to 4-0.  Jack Whalen doubled to make it 5-0.  Later in the inning, Max Mandler closed out the scoring with a sacrifice fly.  

In the fifth, Joe Fiedor knocked in Braden Durham with an RBI groundout.  Whalen and Fiedor each picked up RBIs in the seventh.  

Matt Frazetta drove in the final run with a sacrifice fly in the eighth.  

Whalen had two hits for the Griffins.  Durham drove in three and Fiedor drove in two. 

SHU will return to action on Friday when they travel to Indiana (PA).
